I think I already received credit for this for a course I took at a CC, but this can help someone else.

This is great news, because TESC has Computer Concepts requirement ( CIS 107 or above) for BSAST in Information technology. It will be easier to pass TECEP than to take CIS-107 course.

I have never taken a TECEP exam with TESC. How does it work? Is it like CLEP, where I take a exam and if I pass I get the credit hours for it? Do I schedule a test date after registering for the course?

I think the TECEP sounds good. As of January 2014 TECEP you can take it online through ProctorU. Once you pass it is placed on your transcript but not as a grade I believe it will be CR. Or at least that is what I was told. Now I need to find out how long does it take them to post it on your transcript. I have 3 scheduled for April session.
