		Hi,
I passed my last exam for my BSBA yesterday . I'm hoping to register for the BSBA capstone for the January term, so I'm trying to decide what professor to choose.

It looks like I have the option of doing the Guided Study with Professor  Timothy P. Kenny or the Online with
Dr. Sandra Mohabir-Mckinley.
I think I'd prefer to do the Online, but it doesn't look like there is a lot of info. on
Dr. Sandra Mohabir-Mckinley - I wasn't able to find her on Rate My Professors. It looks Timothy P. Kenny has 4.6/5 rating on Rate My Professor.
If anyone has any experience with either of these 2 professors, I'd appreciate you sharing your thoughts on them.
Thanks for the help!

Review the differences with the GS and OL option, not only the freebie points for forum posts, but the number of assignments are lesser for those doing the online class. It really depends on the student and how they see their use of energy and time, some find it easier to write simple forum posts, but others may want to complete more assignments due to the 'waiting period' for discussion posts. I still favor online over guided study though... Flip a coin and then decide?

Thank you, LevelUP and  bjcheung77 for the replies. I'm leaning towards the Online version, but I was hoping to have more information on Dr. Sandra Mohabir-Mckinley.
I chose Professor Kiesow for Info. Literacy and I'm glad I did. He made the experience much easier tha n it could have been. I tried to complete my assignments based on the grading rubric and he gave me very good grades.

I was also unable to find any information on this professor. I'm currently doing Info Literacy with Dr. Philip Wagner, and so far, he's been great.

Hi Vin, I was leaning towards the Online version with  Dr. Sandra Mohabir-Mckinley, but now I think I'll probably do the Guided Study. Although I haven't been able to find much info. on either professor, I think Guided Study will be a better fit for me. I was told by TESU that the Guided Study is basically just the Online without discussion forums. I was told that the Guided Study does not add any extra assignments to replace the discussion forums. Hopefully this is the case. Although the forums might be easy points, I would rather have the least amount of requirements as possible. Glad Info Literacy is going well.

**UPDATE**

I might have received/shared incorrect information about the Guided Study vs. the Online course versions.

I started the Guided Study Business Administration Capstone this week. Here is the grading/assignment breakdown from my syllabus:
Your grade in the course will be determined as follows:
● Written assignments (11)—15 percent
● Case study assignments (7)—35 percent
● Midterm exam (proctored, Modules 1–5)—25 percent
● E-Proficiency Profile—5 percent
● Final project—20 percent
I'm still glad I chose the Guided Study though because I won't have to write replies to other students. I also didn't have to complete an ungraded introduction discussion forum video like I did for my Online Info. Literacy course.

For the replies, I wrote two sentences each, which took around two minutes per reply.

For example: "Hey, great post! I really liked the point you made about XYZ."

Excellent point! Not everyone has a good experience with discussions:

I have her now and is anyone else feel she is a hard grader?
