For the BSBA CIS, Sophia classes fit into a number of slots. These can be found here: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

No. But, if you don't do them at the same time, it's my understanding that it's probably best to do the BSBA first and then the BA CS after just to avoid making TESU advisors' heads explode. Doing it the other way should still work but they might give you grief regarding which credits get used (or not).

I’m working on bacs now. If it looks like I’m cruising along pretty good I may go for cis. If it’s only 24 additional credits and they can be completed entirely through alternative it may be  something to seriously consider. Especially if they don’t need to be completed at the same time. I don’t think I’d want to delay tge first one.

When doing the double degree - There are a few points: 1) The BSBA has 39 credit business core requirements in addition to the 18 in the AOS, that is much more than the 24 you're looking at. 2) It depends what you currently have in your BACS, if you can "squeeze" more credits into your general ed/free electives. 3) If you want to pay for the extra capstone or if you want to pay residency waiver, or if you want to take the 16 credits at TESU.

The 24 additional credits is for a 2nd degree - so you're looking at paying a second Residency Waiver (the last time I checked, TESU only counts the Residency Waiver as working for 1 year and 1 Bachelor's degree).

If you wanted to do a Dual Degree, then you'd have to do them both at the same time, and only 9cr can overlap in the major.  You have to do 2 capstones, but only 1 Residency Waiver.

This is why it really doesn't make a lot of sense to go back for additional undergraduate degrees at TESU. If anyone wants multiple degrees, it's best to graduate with all of them at the same time. TESU also has another restriction for a second bachelors degree; at least 24 credits must be earned after the conferral date of the most recent degree earned, see https://www.tesu.edu/academics/catalog/award-of-degrees
TESU Class of 2024 BSBA-CIS+GM, BSIT, ASNSM-CS+Math, AAS-GEN
Earned credits from Sophia, SDC, ASU ULC, TEEX, Microsoft, Strayer, TESU, Saylor, DSST, CLEP, CompTIA, StraighterLine, and others since starting in April 2020

As expensive as it is. $3200 And whatever alternative credit source fees for 24 credits . $4000? For the second degree probably isn’t that bad. A person would just have to weigh whether it would help them professionally. A masters would probably be more beneficial but a cheap program is 10k minimum and isn’t  self paced or accept alternative credit.

If you are going for multiple degrees, it is best to do them all at once rather than to go back to TESU and have to pay the residency fee twice.

If you do the flat-fee tuition you could do both capstones at the same time, and few more classes to get to 16 credits and it would only cost $4600 total for both degrees with no residency fee.  If you using the Pell Grant, things cost less so money isn't as much of a factor.  One person here only paid like $500 for a Bachelor's degree at TESU using a Pell Grant which is almost free.
