Long story short, I'm not making June graduation as I had planned. I'm letting off the gas, and pushing back to September instead. It simply makes my life much easier right now.
In doing so, I'm realizing that my current plan (a half-hearted attempt at a math related degree using the Nat Sci / Math concentration) can be made into the thing I actually wanted in the first place: an actual Math major.
This can only happen IF I can apply the UND Linear Algebra course to the Linear Algebra requirement at TESU.
UND's course is 2 credits. TESU's is 3.
This would leave my transcripts short 1 credit of Linear Algebra, as well as 1 credit short in UL overall.
What is the likelihood that I would be able to be granted an exception for that 1 credit deficit?

Hmmm, that's interesting to say the least. I would guess you can ask for a waiver for that 1 credit.
However, you would still be subject to enough UL credits overall and enough credits totalling 120+.
They most likely will need you to take a course to substitute that missing credit, I think.
Your TESU academic advisor should be able to address that with possible options.

And that's the part that this all hinges upon. I don't really have any other UL math options I could get done in time.
I'm registered for April term at TESU so I can't add any courses there that will add UL credits before the application deadline. Transfers/independent studies are really the only option at that point.

Why not just contact advising and ask? I know it's not related to math, but the free ethics course many of us has taken only counts as 2cr, when 3cr are required in ethics according to the catalog. When I had my transcript evaluated, they marked it with "exception: requirement met" for ethics and just pushed the other required credit into another area -- Knowledge of Human Cultures in my case, I don't know if it's the same for everyone.
What I'm saying is they may count it as meeting the requirement, which means you'd need to come up with that missing UL credit in some area of study.

Mathematics 270 : Courses : Athabasca University
I think its about $800 US (when you register the prices is shown in Canadian dollars)
edit: oh, is this course not upper level ?

I wonder about that. From what I understand, TESU wants Linear Algebra to be calc based/have a calc prereq in the description. It doesn't appear this one has that.
Thanks for the tip, though!
It now appears to me that LSU's linear algebra independent study is 3 credits and relatively cheap. The thought of a paper-based course bums me out, but if I can get it done in time, I'll muscle through it.
ETA: I was hoping to go the UND route since I did discrete there. One less transcript to get down the road, and I already know and like the course delivery system/format. But, it looks like LSU's course removes all doubt of the credit shortage.

Just throwing this in for your information: I took a paper-based course from LSU (not math) and I did not enjoy it. It took way longer than I anticipated. I probably could have completed it faster if I had "muscled through it" as you said, but just be aware that the back and forth "correspondence course" format can add a significant amount of time to things.

That's exactly what I DIDN'T want to hear
Thanks for the feedback on LSU.
I'll keep combing for other 3sh calc based linear algebra, or other UL options to fill the UL gap and hope or the exception on the 2sh.

Thanks! I missed that one.
Boy, they sure are a little brief with their details. I can't seem to find any explanation of the number of assignments and exams.
