Torah Credit Liason - Excelsior College
#1
After much research over the weekend I think i may have stumbled upon a great find. In my quest to find affordable upper level a&s credits I found Torah (Not Torak lol, oops) Credit Liason (TAL) in the NCCRS database. Excelsior accepts credits from TAL. I found 2 ethics/philosophy courses/exams that are approved for 6 UL credits each. I inquired with TAL about registering for them. I am waiting for a reply. @ $50 credits each it is an awesome deal for UL credit. Will update soon.:coolgleam:

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

It says on their website: "The majority of TAL students graduate with a BA or BS in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, Thomas Edison College or Charter Oak College."

For some reason, I can't get much info from their website, but I did see it on NCCRS's website instead: Torah Accreditation Liaison | NCCRS

If you know Yiddish, or the Jewish Laws, you are golden!!

Seriously, lots of bible, early childhood education, ethics, as well as jewish subjects, and many of the courses are UL or 6 credits. I look forward to hearing more about this. Esp because my son is interested in learning Hebrew!

It certainly looks promising! I filled out the "application". It said they accept 94% of applicants. Patiently waiting for a reply. I might just go ahead and follow up with an email tomorrow.
