I currently have 121 credits in Mechanical Engineering Technology from a local state univeristy (RA/ABET). Due to a change in my employment situation, I can't complete the last 3 credits (senior design project) as my current work schedule prevents me from attending and completing the final course (there is no DL option).
My current employer is expanding operations and will be creating several new positions. I HAVE to have my degree completed to be considered for any of the new positions.
I have reviewed my current transcripts vs. the TESC BSAST MET program and I have all the requirements met.
Has anyone simply transferred credits and graduated or is there a minimum number that I will HAVE to get from TESC?
P.S
I am aware of the cons of taking this route (No TESC GPA for grad school/ Non-ABET), but in this case those don't really apply as I can provide transcripts from my state university showing a satisfactory GPA over 121 credits and their program is ABET accredited. Also, the only restriction from my employer is the degree must be RA.
