Hi,
Has anyone taken UExcel Research Methods in Psychology or Social Psychology? If so, how did you prepare? Do they transfer to TESU?
Thanks!

Hi, my daughter just graduated from TESU with a BA in Psych. She used the UExcel Social Psych for the upper level required social psych credits (3 ll credits were from Study.com). She also used Study.com for her Research Methods in Psych credits.
We didn't prep much for the UL Social Psych, 1) because she'd taken the LL SDC course
https://study.com/academy/course/uexcel-...ourse.html
and 2) because there's not a lot of info out there.
Here's the content guide:

And the quizlet cards:

Nothing taken outside of TESU changes the TESU GPA. It might have an effect on total GPA if you are trying to get into a grad school later but that is a completely separate issue to how TESU calculates your GPA.
In progress:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Sophia (30 courses), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming

It was a letter grade. If it helps, with the SDC prep course and no other studying, she got a B. It was her next to last course/test and she was just done but didn't find it difficult with all the other psych courses she'd taken prior.
