I am confused?

Can you get an UMPI general studies AA,
separate from the BA degree?

You can add on the AA in Liberal Studies to your program. It will be filled in by your BA courses, so it essentially becomes a free AA, regardless of your BA's major.

I was asking for my co-worker, who just wants to complete an AA.
 
I was thinking maybe he could get an UMPI AA,
because,
at this time he was not going for a BA.



Can you get a standalone AA from UMPI?

Yes, you can. Having said that, it's going to cost him $1800/session at UMPI to get that AALS, they can get a BA for another session if they wanted to. I agree with you 100%.

He just wants a quick , and hopefully easy AA for now.
I think his company is paying for it.

he is going to apply to UMPI,
and see how his credits transfer.

then he will quickly fill in the missing courses with Sophia,
before he starts any UMPI classes.

Is that a good plan?
