UMPI BABA Inquiry
#1
Hey all:

I joined here back in 2019 and was looking at either doing TESU or COSC.   However, life and business happened, and I never moved forward.

I have a little bit of margin in my life now.

What would I need to do to get a BABA from UMPI?

Thanks.

@jeremyeugenejames, I would apply, send all your transcripts to UMPI to have it evaluated, you need to get your remaining general education classes completed with Sophia.org by following the WIKI once your evaluation comes through, transfer the max credits and complete the remaining 30 credits for residency at UMPI. @jeremyeugenejames, it's great you're asking questions to get the hang of things, but you're not providing much info. If you have more information such as the info in the addendum plus template, they can assist you further with more details you provide them. Giving us a basic info will get the ball rolling, but giving us all or most of the info, we can help you further or at least direct you to the people there that can help.

What you have done is basically copy/pasted the classes you have completed in a previous thread and re-posted, there is no additional info to assist us with, like the budget, commitments, study habits, etc that's asked for in the addendum and template, without that bigger, clearer, overview of your situation, it's going to be hard to answer your question. Please update this thread with the info...

Your Location: Alabama, United States.
Your Age: 44
What kind of degree do you want?: I'd like to get a Bachelor's in Business (or a related field) and maybe pave my way to an MBA through WGU (or another fast-paced degree.)
Current Regional Accredited Credits: 75 (59 from a CC, 16 from a 4 year from prior to the CC.

Now that I have some margin in my life, I had considered getting my B.S (or B.A.) and working towards an MBA to open a potential, future career door.

The cost isn't as much of a factor as the time, though. I don't want to spend an exhorbiant amount of money - if I could get my B.S. for less than $4,000 or so, inclusive of the time at UMPI, I'd count that worthy. I don't know if I could knock out the 1-term MBA from WGU for (what used to be $4,600,) but I'd consider it.

Thanks, all, for the help.

What about the addendum? You missed it! If that is your budget, your only option is UMPI as TESU/Excelsior would exceed $4K... It'll be closer to $5K for TESU. Yes, you can go for a quick Bachelors and ladder up to the UMPI MAOL if you wanted, by taking 3-4 courses that can exempt you from 3 classes at the MAOL level. Other than that, WGU MBA or MSML would work as well...
