@kylepenn89, Welcome to the board... Just wondering what degree were you looking at when you took WGU courses?  Was the courses you listed part of WGU Academy and you were using StraighterLine courses?  I would follow the WIKI plan, create your spreadsheet and save it to your google or one drive, make it viewable (not editable) and link us to the file.  We can provide you comments for changes (if any)... You may consider taking both Vietnam courses at SDC instead of two of their LL HTY/POS courses. Both transfer in as separate UL HTY courses, there's significant overlap, and the POS ones are very straightforward at UMPI.

You'd likely be left with HTY 115 and 116 at UMPI, the two POS courses, and around four more UL HTY courses. Getting it on a spreadsheet would help visualize it all.

BA History & Political Science (Minors: Pre-Law, Intl. Studies, Social Studies, Criminal Justice, & Business Admin) | UMPI
MS Early Childhood Studies: Administration, Management, & Leadership | Walden (3.90)
Certificate Teachers College College Advising Program | Columbia
Certificate College Access Counseling | Rice
Certificate College Admissions Specialist | American School Counselors Association
Goals: A) EdD/MS in Higher Ed; B) 51/195 Countries; C) Find 3rd good hamburger in Shanghai (accomplished June '19, August '21, and...?)

I was originally going for Elementary Education. I decided to just get a Bachelor's degree and then do a transition to teaching program. The WGU courses were not part of the Academy and I haven't used Straighterline. I have attached a copy of my degree plan. I struggled big time so I'm sure I missed some things.

I appreciate any feedback!

Thanks Smile

I am terrible at making spreadsheets lol I tried but I just re-did it in a word document. Please take a look and see if it looks good to you! Courses highlighted in yellow are what I already have completed.

Thank you so much!

Just an FYI, the Greece and Rome course isn't available on Yourpace and never has been offered.

I did Spanish 1 and 2 on Sophia. Not super hard but there are a bunch of graded assignments that will slow you down.

-If you find yourself needing more POL classes at UMPI, I have read POS 101 is super quick. Probably quicker than Sophia.
-Sophia has another history elective you didn't list by the way, "Topics in US History"

Thank you! I missed Topics of US History! I swapped it out for an elective that I had down for Study.com.

Are there better alternatives for Spanish I and II that you know of?

Last question lol are the History major courses that I listed able to be swapped out for any of the history courses offered on YourPace? Several of these courses don’t interest me too much so I’d like to have more options of possible!

Thank you for helping me. I appreciate it!
