UMPI Credly transfer question

So I was wondering based on pst experience how long do they take to process transcripts for transfer? Also where do you look to see the eval. I sent my AAS from my cc to them 2 weeks back and just sent my SDC. I am waiting on my touchstones to be graded for bio lab so I was wondering should I send my credit transcript now or is it safe to wait the week or so for the touchstones to be graded?

It takes U of M a few weeks to process transcripts. They're busy with graduation right now so it may take longer. They usually wait until they have received all of your transcripts before they start processing them. Have you received access to your MaineStreet account yet?

@cizzie, wait until all your courses have been completed and touchstones graded. Once everything is checked off, send in your transcripts for evaluation. You can't send in your info just yet if the touchstones aren't graded, they won't be in the transcript at all.

Yes, I do have it I can log in now, besides that nothing else I haven't been assigned an advisor yet and have no holds.

Your right they did end up doing it now, I also have an old vers of sophia BIO I am curious if I can pair this with the BIO lab or if I should redo the course for an updated badge

The lab and the bio are still different courses, not one combined course. Take the lab and it'll pair with the Human Biology course you already have.

That is great to hear thanks! Basically playing the waiting game now waiting for everything to be evaluated.

You will not have an advisor until you've been accepted. You don't have any holds because you haven't been billed for tuition. You have to register for classes in order for a tuition bill to be generated. You can't register for classes until you've been accepted. 

You will need both Human Biology and Human Biology Lab. You do not need to retake Human Biology. Just take the Lab and you'll be all set.

That's right, you don't have to redo the Bio course, just need to add the lab. If you have anything else to complete, make sure to complete them together at Sophia.org since you're paying for membership. See if you have any remaining courses you can do for max transfer to UMPI with Sophia.org - you're all set for the remaining 30 credits at UMPI.
