It's what in the US would be called a state university. Only in the US are state universities accredited. The school has a Royal Charter from 1828.

So it's state recognized, that is good.
Fees aren't that bad, however I think the fees linked above are only for part-time students taking half the normal amount of courses.
So for example full time is 2 years, now for the total price it is 4 x the part-time fee.
