Wanting to get ACE Math credit

Im trying to find a course that I can get ACE math credit as I need to complete math courses for my degree at penn state and they accept ACE credits. Im looking for a cheap/free ACE credit program that can help me attain college level math.

Any specific math courses? Shmoop may be your best bet, $88/month for all-you-can-eat, but people seem to think they're a pain (I have no personal experience with them).

I need college level math courses to transfer over. Also ive heard about straightliner are they good? I'm not sure exactly what ones basically what is required is college level algebra course. "MATH 021 College Algebra I (3) Quadratic equations; equations in quadratic form; word problems; graphing; algebraic fractions; negative and rational exponents; radicals."

Study.com and straighterline.com both have some nice sets of math credit. I recommend both.

I took calculus II at straighterline. The odd thing is that they let you use a sheet of notes on the exam. That really kind of surprised me, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, so I made a sheet of notes and passed the class. Made it much easier.

If all you need is algebra you might consider doing the $25 Saylor.org test-out exam. Maybe brush up in the subject with a free Khan Academy or similar course, and then take the $25 Saylor exam for ACE credit

Yes. That would probably be the best option at this point for algebra. There are actually many possibilities out there for math credits.

Alright thanks! How do I know if Penn state will accept ACE credit and which course as its equivalent?

They take for ever to answer me! lol anyway Its been 7 years since ive done math and ive honestly forgot a ton. Would I benefit more from Saylor.org or doing straighterline? What would be easier?

Well, I took math up through Calculus I in high school and picked up the AP credits there. That was in 1993. Then I started back up again earlier this year. Now I have 40 or 50 credit hours. I started with ALEKS, which is no longer a credit-bearing option. But basically, I started small and then worked my way up. If I were to do it now, I would go for the Guardian Scholarship with study.com and then take all of their math credits. If Penn State doesn't take it, I might just do the quizzes anyway. There is quite a bit of lower-level math that ACE gives recommendations for. Then you can take calculus I and II at either study.com or straighterline. But if you just need algebra, this won't take you too long.
