but, no you can't get out of 2 classes with only one exam. What I meant to say was that there are certain subjects that have overlap between 2 exams. So, when you are studying to take one exam you can "use" that same information that you've learned (and hopefully retained) and then take another exam with much less study than might have been usually required.
For example: CLEP Principles of Management, Dantes Supervision, Dantes Human Resource Management, and Dantes Intro to Business all have a lot of overlap in the subject matter. So, when you are studying for Princ of Mgmt, it makes sense to take the Supervision test too (provided you need it to complete credits and your school accepts it). The same with Princ of Mgmt and Human Resources. There is so much overlap between those subjects that is makes sense to take those tests close together while the info is fresh in your mind.
In other words, if someone were to typically put in 10 hours studying for 1 CLEP subject exam - they could (probably) get by with only adding a few more hours to their original study and take a second test in an area that has a lot of overlap with the first test.
I'm not sure if this is making sense or not. Please feel free to private message me if you'd like and I'll be happy to try and help.
