That's a decent amount of money anywhere, but especially so in India, yes? In that case, I think it would be worth it to invest in a Bachelor's in CS and then a Master's later on.

Did you check the Data Science masters on UpGrad? If this is something you are alternatively interested in.

There are some that are more expensive (i.e. USD 11,000 for University of Arizona) but they specify you do not need a background in engineering or compsci etc. There are a couple like this. Even LJMU has one for USD 7500 that says no coding experience required. I am surprised they did not tell you about this one when they rejected you for the other program.

Previously in the thread I see discussion about doing a bachelor at WGU first. They do not allow international students, so this is not really an option.

I've lived in the U.S. for eight years. WGU accepted me into their BS SD program. But I haven't gone through with it since I just started my MBA.

Maybe I missed it in this thread, but maybe one option could be Amity's MCA (Master in Computer Applications)? There are a number of different specializations, one in AR and VR, one in ML, one in ML and AI, Blockchain (also a certificate is granted by Cornell in the US), and one general program. Even though it is an Indian university and online, it has American regional accreditation also (with WASC). Actually I am always impressed by Amity in general - they have a nice range at bachelor and master level.

The entrance requirements state if you have a bachelor you can be accepted, only if you do not have a suitable maths level you may first need to take a "bridging course". Plus from my understanding, they charge different fees to home and overseas students. If you could get the home rate even if you are in the US, it would be one way to get an RA US Masters quite cheaply.

I would focus on your remaining courses for the Masters in Project Management first. Once that is done or near completion, then search for your online option from India. Amity is a good choice, there are others that provide a similar degree, most MCA programs require two years, if you want to splurge but get things done faster, I suggest doing the WGU BS SD and laddering up to a Masters in Cybersecurity or Data Analytics also at WGU.
