KayV Wrote:Docmarvin, here's a plan for the AAS with your credits. I think I got all of your duplicate math credits sorted. You aren't too far away!

Thanks KayV! I've just registered earlier to the TEEX courses. On your plan, it doesn't include my Military Transcript. On morig's plan, he have those added. I was just wondering if it will cover all of my free electives.

I don't know what your military credits are. If you list them I will put them in the plan.

Am I understanding this correctly? If you have B&M credits along with a few other ACE credits, you can transfer them all to BOG and get an AA or AS degree? At no or minimal cost??? What am I missing here? My daughter-in-law has thought about COSC, but needs some math and science and capstone/cornerstone (can't remember which). She has 54 B&M credits. Needs math, science and looks like computer from what I can see on the site. She could do ALEKS, Nutrition and maybe TEEX? Is this a better choice than COSC?

If all she needs is an associate degree, she should be good to go.
Do you know her credits? I could put them in a degree plan.

I'm not sure how the format will show up on this, but here are her courses. She was originally going for Elementary Education, but withdrew due to financial reasons. She would like to at least get her AA or AS degree after all that work :-)

These courses were taken at Welch College, a regionally accredited school:

Here you go. Sorry that took so long, our power went out.

She would need one math, one science, and a computer course. She could do all of those for $25 each through Saylor, or she could go through Straighterline, Study.com, etc.

Do you think:

ENGL 67 - 4 CR - Writing Fundamentals - A
ENGL 68 - 4 CR - Prep. for College Writing - A

... Would count towards the "Communications" requirements? Probably a long shot.

Those look like remedial classes, but it wouldn't hurt to try. Do they happen to have a Business Writing or a Speech class? Those two would fulfill the requirement.
