Study.com Credits at TESU expire

That is beyond misleading.  Hopefully, Study.com at least updates its website.

It's not misleading, if you're talking about the ACE or NCCRS websites.  Those are recommendations, and colleges are free to do whatever they want (including NOT accept courses at all).

And yes, Study.com does need to update their website.

I am referring to TESU not accepting the credits as listed on Study.com's website.  I am aware things change, but TESU changes things at the last minute without giving any notice.

I thought we were all aware of this before december?
In fact I stopped taking UL courses at SDC as I learned on this forum that TESU was accepting them only as LL.
And between that and ACE closing doors and badges and TESU new rules, I started rushing for as many ACE UL I could get before the deadline.

Not everything at Study.com was re-evaluated internally by TESU as Lower Level, it's just "some" courses. Sadly, none of us would know what that list is... I am hoping Study.com would provide us an update if any. If there is an update, it shouldn't be too hard to place that new equivalency on their website at all...

The following I can confirm came as UL from SDC on the following dates.

SDC - Systems Analysis & Design - Upper Level as CIS-320 on 01/01/21
SDC - Database Management - Upper Level as CIS-311 on 12/23/20
SDC - Bus management information systems - Upper Level as CIS-301 on 02/10/21

Don't know if they have changed since, but if anyone has taken them since they can fill us in.

I can't speak for Computer architecture because I dropped it because the assignment headache wasn't worth it for me.

What degree are you trying to get?  It makes a difference as to what you can take.

The Network Technology TECEP is still available (this is not a Study.com course, it's a TECEP exam given directly by TESU). Both the BSBA-CIS and BACS will allow this one
BUS 309: Digital Marketing & Advertising will work for the BSBA-CIS degree
COMPSCI 306: Computer Architecture should still be UL and is required in the BACS degree

Study.com had this information for a while about TESU. It is time for SDC to update its site. My only criticism of Study.com is that it needs to work more on its transparency. A few too many gray areas such as this one that we now know about.
