TESU/UMPI are very good options, I would take 90 credits towards the two using Sophia.org for lower level and Study.com for upper level requirements. I was going to recommend TESU since you're in NJ state, but because you don't have many commitments, your experience may get you the UMPI degree cheaper, easier, faster and finish in two terms.
I would focus on creating an action plan that will work for BOTH schools using Sophia.org to get the max of 90 credits transfer. You can decide when you're half way through which one is better... Remember, both require 30 RA credits, TESU allow more alternative credit transfers and you can opt to pay the residency waiver vs taking 16 credits at TESU...

I would stay away from OnlineDegree.com.
Those courses tend to take a lot longer to complete than Sophia.
However, those courses have the best videos of any alt provider that I have seen. The first video of each chapter is the only video used for the quizzes. The rest don't matter. I suggest watching videos at 2x speed and doing another OnlineDegree course in another tab while waiting for the timer.
I got through OnlineDegree's Microeconomics in 10hrs so I know how to work the system

Personally, I quite enjoyed OnlineDegree's history course. I wound up watching all the videos because they were interesting!

I'm enjoying it as well. I'm also enjoying the astronomy course.

Pierpont is a bit iffy about NCCRS courses. They should accept them, but sometimes they don't. Which OnlineDegree courses have you been working through?
I have been working through Intro to Cosmology, Microeconomics, and the History one.

Microecon is probably easier at Sophia; you'd also need Macroecon from there anyway if you decide you want a business degree. Astronomy isn't as cheap at InstantCert, but that would be ACE. But you don't need it for UMPI. And, again, if you go with UMPI, your US History course is sufficient.

Thanks. I'm not going to fool with those anymore.
I've been on the UMPI YourPace website a bunch recently and I've also been looking at their Criminal Justice program. Re-entry is one of my passions, and it might be a good degree for me. When I finish with AmeriCorps in December, a re-entry social service agency in NYC wants me to come work for them.

Criminal Justice is a good choice! We have several students who are thinking about or who have already taken that route.

Make yourself a HS diploma and be done with it. Backdate it to whatever you would have actually graduated, and make a fairly generic transcript of high school subjects that probably look a lot like your own kid's. Your parents overlooked this, they're gone, sign it and you're fine. It's not like someone is going to come after you for it. I'm actually shocked you did not come up with this idea long, long ago. I would have done it myself 5 minutes after realizing I needed one about 25 years ago.
After that's done, then go get your bachelor's degree. If you're in NJ, you can apply and enroll at TESU as an in-state student.
Most MSW programs are not competitive, so a few grades on your transcript will be fine. If you want more graded credit, you may want to take UExcel exams (all are graded, but not easy) or actually take a few UL psych courses somewhere.
The other option is to enroll at a school that has a Psych degree and allows ACE/NCCRS credits, where they'll want you to take 30cr at that school to get all those UL Psych courses with grades. Here are a few options, there are more out there (prices and scholarships may have changed, so check first):
- GGU's Aspire program ($300/cr x 30cr = $9,000)

- SNHU ($320/cr x 30cr = $9,600)

- UIU's Self-paced program ($330/cr x 30cr = $9,900)
https://uiu.edu/academics/program-finder...ed-via-web
- Liberty University (w/SL or Sophia scholarship of 15% off for 1 course brought in $331.50/cr x 30cr = $9,945)
https://www.liberty.edu/online/behaviora...sychology/
- Franklin University (w/SL scholarship of 10% off for 4 SL courses brought in $358.20/cr x 30cr = $10,746)

- UMGC (w/OD scholarship of 25% off for 1 course brought in $374.23/cr x 30cr = $11,227)

- Wilmington University ($390/cr x 30cr = $11,700)

I somehow doubt it's allowed to sign your own HS diploma/transcripts.
This page says that you should get a GED if your parents are deceased and/or forgot/refused to issue a diploma: https://responsiblehomeschooling.org/gui...l-diploma/
The GED test is easy, as long as you're capable of doing college-level work. Take the test if you have to, move on, and don't mess with something that could potentially land you in trouble down the road.
