Okay, I'm back after taking a short break to complete a prof license for work, and I passed the 5 hour examhilarious
I am ready to start kicking some rear on this degree thing. I am looking at a BA with the Liberal Studies Area from TESC. My goal is to complete as many Clep, Dantes, FEMA and straightliner in the next year to kick this thing out with as few TESC courses as possable. What I need help with is, which courses to take so I don't duplicate my efforts. With all that being said does anyone have a degree plan they used (or would be willing to put together for me) that will help me complete this goal?

I have one little thing for you to look into. American Public University AKA American Military University (two identical divisions within the same university) are both regionally and nationally accredited. In other words- you can transfer in NATIONALLY accredited credits (BJU) and graduate with a REGIONALLY accredited degree. This is worth looking into before you start over. Just my two cents. (it's cheaper than TESC and they do take CLEP)
Accredited Online University - American Public University (APUS) - Online Learning University, Distance Education, Online University Degree Progra
ms
This is one of (maybe THE only) college in the USA with both accredidations in which this is possible.

Sorry to hear that!!!! My situation was similar with my first associate degree back in 1990- I started back at zero too, it took me 18 months of "not nearly full time" classes and exams. (I have 4 kids, work 2 nights per week, and homeschool- so if I can do it, anyone can!)
What are the 9 credits you have completed at your community college? I can help you work out a starting point.

Ok, TESC is going to count that as FREE ELECTIVE credit. TESC has two types of electives- general education elective and free electives. G.E.E.s are only allowed in math, social science, natural science, and humanities. So, add those 9 to your 10 FEMA- and your management CLEP puts you at 22 free electives.
For test planning, refer to the course catalog and plan courses in only the GE areas. If credits overflow, they flow into GEE. At the point where your GEE overflows, it goes into FE credit. Since you are
nearly full in FE credit, you should direct all of your testing toward the GE areas.
As a kick off point, I'd suggest the English Composition for 6 credits, Analyzing and Interpreting Literature for 6 credits, and the College Math for 6 credits.

A Social Sciences degree from TESC can be completely tested out of. I'm almost finished with it; check my sig for the degree plan.
Also, the BSLS from EC is a great choice; they will give you a GPA, which TESC will not unless you take a class directly from them. EC is well liked here, and has a great reputation. TESC, not so much. . .
