Hi, sorry if this has been discussed before, I'm new and I really didn't see any good results when I searched. Does anyone know any good resources for studying for the English Literature Clep? I've taken the American Literature clep is the English one similar in structure?

English Lit is a different sort of beast than American Lit. About 40-60% (depending on which test version you get) is much like the A&I Lit test.
I used Barron's Ez101 English Lit to study for it. But the text is very.. Thin (both literally and figuratively).
The greatest help for me was the forum posts here. I thought the ones in the general forum were more helpful to me than the ones in the exam feedback section.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

There are some good things out there. sparknotes.com is your
best friend. I also used Barrons EZKeys English Lit, it is a great overview. I can also send you some helpful word docs if you send me your email address.
Here's some previous threads. I advise mastering the search feature :p

Ok. Thanks.

I'm a classic book lover, and have studied classic English literature before but, I want to be sure and study as best I can, especially modern English authors.
On a side note: Cowgirls rule! haha
