I took Human Growth and development last year, just doing Psych will help. I strongly recommend joining Instantcert. The flashcards are great if that fits your learning style, but any one who misses the Specific exam feedback is missing the best study suggestions.

I signed up It is a GREAT resource. I had a whole course planned out for me from the textbook but I feel like this is better. I guess I might still read through the highlighted terms in the book and go over them a time or two, but that will be considerably less time than memorizing the whole textbook! And I will be SO happy not to take the class - I think I've already said that? General psych was hard enough to sit through :\
