Hello Amazingly Informative People,
I'm posing these questions to anyone who is pursuing or has received the BS of Homeland Security from TESC. I'd like to know exactly what I'm getting myself into. I'd like to know about a few specific courses.
The Terrorism Course(my evaluation doesnt list a course code)
HLS-460 Counter Terrorism
HLS-420 Preparedness & Prevention
HLS-429 Response & Recovery
HLS-492 Research Methodology
HLS-355 Critical Thinking
HLS-498 Homeland Security Capstone
If possible, a syllabus for each would be perfect, as it should contain everything I would like to know. If a syllabus isn't available I'd like to know the following:
Are these courses textbook geared? If so, which textbooks?
Are the exams/midterms/finals proctored?
What is the criteria for passing? ie. Written Assignments, Final Exam, Final Paper, etc.
Luckily, these are the only course I have to take through TESC.
Thank you in advance.
