Learn a Language

Well, I think learning another language is a very enriching thing, but the majority of people learning a language don't do it for pleasure, it's out of necessity. Either the environment they're in requires it, or they'll get some kind of benefit for doing it. English is way too international, you can essentially survive with English in any corner of the globe (in fact you can go to any corner of the globe to teach it, like myself). So we're a bit spoiled in that respect, and we're lazy, not too motivated to learn another language. Not justifying it, but it's unavoidable.
