Can I use credits from my existing bachelor's degree at the Big 3?
#26
You should look into WGU for an MBA or MAT. It's only $3250 per 6 month term for the MBA and you can complete as many credits as you want during a term. Finishing the program in a year is probably very doable. Most of the other programs are $2980 per term and you could possibly get a master's in a teaching field for free with the federal TEACH grant and WGU's scholarship for science majors. Or, just get the MAT in a non-science field (job prospects won't be as good though unless it's special education or ESL) and you'll still get $4,000 off a year with the TEACH grant, but you'll be required to teach in a low-income school for 4 or 5 years.

Fort Hays State University has a lot of graduate degree concentrations and it's cheap. Wayne State College has an MBA for $7500. Eastern New Mexico University's MBA is $5,978; but you're only allowed to take 6 credits per semester at New Mexico colleges under the in-state tuition rates. So, plan to spend at least 2 years on your degree if you attend a New Mexico university.
