It is a cool program, it seems most of the Ivies concentrate nearly all their efforts on recruiting the best of the best 18 year old freshmen students. For example Harvard College will only allow a handful of credits from say a CC, likewise for Yale, they want you to spend 4 years at their institution, that's their game. I think this is a great opportunity for the handful of CC grads who want a stellar education. The only issue I have with it is cost, but I'm confident Yale is generous with financial aid.

I would love a stellar education at Yale. I just can't give up my spouse, my child, and my current employment to get it.

ETA: I hope that didn't sound snarky. It's more disappointment than anything else. If I didn't have so many responsibilities this would be a great opportunity for me.
