You are probably right about CLEP and its utility since the candidate gets 6 credits and for less cost, however, for someone like me who couldn't CLEP because I stay outside areas where there are test centers, TECEP ENC 101 and 102 are the best bet. Compared to SL Eng Comp, TECEP ENC are easier.
