Am I correct that no IT program (Associates or BS/BA) can be tested out of?
#2
There are very few degrees that can be completed through exams only. Most people here use a mix of exams, non-traditional courses, and traditional courses. So, the short answer is you are correct that there are no Information Technology degrees that can be completed through testing only. There are several technical degrees that can be completed through a mix of various credit sources. For an example of a few of these, you can check the Thomas Edison State College website and look at the BS Applied Science and Technology Degrees. Most of the general education requirements and some of the technical requirements can be completed through exams, but there will be courses that must be completed as well.
