Ive been considering the BSBA CIS and a big plus about it is I've read you can test out of most of the degree. I currently only have 26 credits, most of them being gen ex requirements. In the past month I took US History 1(CLEP) and intro to computers(dsst). I'm not in any kind of rush, but getting credits has become must more feasible for me with the discovery of CLEP testing and I want to continue that for as long as I can.
Perhaps the biggest factor on transferring now vs. later would be the structure of classes at TESU and proctor exams.
Look through the requirements for the BSBA:CIS and start mapping your current credits to it. Figure out what you want to take through AMU. Focus on them and then switch to TESU. In your downtime between courses, knock out some CBE and Straighterline. PLA is also an option.
Here are some you may want to consider taking at AMU.
The CIS courses: Programming, System Analysis, and 2 of the 4 ULs. There are alternative options for Programming and the CSU Global course may count for System Analysis. The ULs are a little harder to fill. I used DSST MIS, DSST Cybersecurity, TECEP Networking, and COSC Software Engineering. With "cisco" in your username, I'm assuming you have some Networking experience, so both the TECEP and DSST MIS should be relatively easy. I thought the DSST Cybersecurity was a challenging exam. If you search the forum, there is a thread with some good info on it.
Gen Ed science requirements: These are some of the more challenging CBEs. Straighterline is also an option.
Stats: ALEKS may be an option.
Intro to Fin Acct, Intro to Man Acct, Finance, Business Law - There are other options, but these may be ones you would want to take as courses.
