The non-specific gen ed requirements at EC were a huge plus for me. I was able to focus on my interests, in most cases. All of the practice that I have gotten with "public speaking" (posting) here has really been helpful for my current degree program. I've also learned from this forum about lots of ways to get any further education, like public speaking, that I may need to add in the future.
