Depends on the job. If you want an accounting job, most companies won't take an AA. It's either entry-level, with no AA needed, or higher up with some experience, or a BA. An AA just doesn't do anything for you.
But I also say to check the jobs you are wanting. If a job says AA, then great - get an AA. But MOST jobs don't say that - they require no degree, or a BA. There's just not a lot in the middle.
