I'd rather not take Spanish or French with UMPI if I can afford it, as I've been self-studying Brazilian Portuguese for over a year now. Any chance they'd accept ACFTL credits in place or transfer credits from an RA institution that would teaches Portuguese?
ACFTL would be optimal, but they only test European Portuguese, which is a whole hurdle by itself.
You would have to inquire with admissions in the YourPace office. On campus they offer a variety of languages. In YourPace, they currently offer French and Spanish. They just added Spanish in October.
RA credits will easily transfer in. ACE credits aren't as easy to transfer in.
