I wonder if UMPI's requirements can be "hacked" by taking a couple of TEL Learning classes for RA credit plus whatever ACE credit you have. It might cost a bit more that way but if you could do (say) 9 TEL credits plus Sophia and not have to deal with HS transcripts then that would still be more cost-effective than TESU. I'm not saying it will work, but it could be worth a try.
Another possible solution would be to try to get your transcript evaluated by an evaluator that allows self-sent transcripts. ECE allows self-sent transcripts, under some circumstances, at this present moment in time. Others might also do this. Again, it would be cheaper to not have to do that but it might be worth looking into if UMPI insists on a HS transcript that is sent by a school and you simply can't do that.
