@Tswede, they're letting you do the BAS because you have an AAS and enough 'technical credits'.  My question is, which AAS do you currently have and where did you get it from (which college/university)?  Could you provide us an academic evaluation?  I thought UMPI were getting stricter on what constitutes 'technical credits' and don't really know how they're letting people get into the BAS vs remaining on the BLS degree... The main appeal for the BAS is the UL requirements in addition to the appeal of the "applied science" vs "liberal studies" in the degree name.

I understand the appreciation of 'applied science vs. liberal studies; however, I was interested in what @Tswede intended to use it for, or was it just the wording appeal?
