It won't matter for hagwons/GEPIK/EPIK. Salaries are going to be relatively low and hours could be long, but you'd have time to study for sure, especially if you're in a rural placement.
Are you interested in the JET Programme in Japan, or specifically geared toward Korea? I was admitted to JET out of college and also worked at a UNESCO-affiliated English village in Gyeonggi-do a long way back. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
I'm unsure about any ENEB program being regarded as an actual Master's there, but as an aside, I feel that Ph.D. timeline could be intense. I'd say to get a TEFL/TESOL cert, since it is expected in many East Asian countries. China would be the path for higher salary, but, you know, it's China. Either way, you will have to go through a lengthy gauntlet to get your background checks and have all of your documents stamped + authenticated by Secretaries of States for visa purposes, so I'd also advise to keep that in mind when considering your timelines. Keep on working to your goal no matter what and you'll be well on your way.
