Probably depends on how low will be the price you get, as that depends on where are you from, whether you can get scholarship, etc.
For comparison with eg. TESU etc. you can check previous threads here about computer science programs.
It is private university accredited in Germany, so it shall be recognized everywhere else.
I would expect that eg. Constructor University, or OPIT on Malta, will have more modern and practical curriculum - but I didn't check it, just the vibe I got while investigating IU a year or two ago.
It is not flexible so you can't finish it in a year or two like the most popular options on this forum.
If you are not from US, you can also check SNHU branch in India, for comparison, if you are on a tight budget.
IIT Guwahati and BITS Pilani, both on Coursera, are other cheap options, but Indian degree is not suitable for everyone, and equally inflexible as IU.
Whether it is worth it, tough to say, depends on many variables (where you live, where you wish to use it, what job you want to use it for, your budget, how long you wish to study, whether you wish to continue with masters,... ). Accredited diploma is accredited diploma, that is all you get there IMHO.
