The course selection and curriculum at the school seem strong. Normally, I would be hesitant to recommend it because of the cost, but since you are in-state this could be ideal.
The reason is that you should have access to the alumni network and (hopefully) on campus recruiting. University of Michigan is the big dog in the state and I am certain that all of the major companies recruit there. I would definitely take it over University of Pittsburg and even my alma mater, Eastern University, for the network alone.
The cost seems high, but unless you are already making 6 figures you will easily earn that additional cost back in salary. I cannot impress upon enough just how brutal the data science job market is for new grads, and if you can use the career center, participate in on-campus recruiting, and have access to the alumni database of the top school in your state that is worth it's weight in gold.
