How many Classes per Semester?

I work full-time and get home in the evenings by 6:30. I know an individual's workload toelrance will vary person to person, but, in general, how many classes at a time is reasonable via one of these online schools?
I just applied online to TESC and paid the $75 fee....that's all I've done so far. I have a big chunk of GE classes completed from community college.

I plan on taking whatever FEMA and CLEP exams I can....as soon as I find out, somehow, which ones I'll need.

But I have zero experience with an online education, it's difficulty, etc. My main objective is to work my butt off and get this BS done absolutely ASAP!

Any suggestions as to how may classes to take simultaneously at any one given time would be appreciated.

Ok, you'll NEED 6 credits per semester if you're getting any kind of financial aid. My suggestion is to find out from your advisor if any of the 6 credit courses will fit into your degree plan. There is one called Social Psychology (social science credit) and another one that is history-war maybe? (social science credit) and finally an environmental one (math/science credit).
Anyway, based on my experience and the experience of others, a 6 credit class IS NOT double the work (one mid-term exam, one message board, etc) This would be technically 1 class but double the credit. In my opinion, it is easier than 2 classes at 3 credits each- and a good "first class" for anyone unsure of how their schedule will unfold.
