It would help to find out what the credit looks like on a Wichita State University transcript. If it indicates Wichita State University is originating the credit, that's good. If it looks like Wichita State University accepting transfer credit, that could limit its transferability elsewhere. If it indicates it's something like "professional development" credit, that could limit its transferability elsewhere.
The big market for courses like this is for teachers to demonstrate professional development. The requirements for that market are generally less than the requirements for credit transferable to a degree program.
