For the UoP BS in Business Administration, these likely each have a corresponding CLEP
this might (there’s a CLEP Introductory Business Law, but it’s typically counted as lower-level)
- BUS 1101 Principles of Business Management
- BUS 1102 Basic Accounting (my guess is CLEP Financial Accounting would go here)
- BUS 1103 Microeconomics
- BUS 1104 Macroeconomics
- BUS 2201 Principles of Marketing
and these don’t appear to
- BUS 3305 Business Law and Ethics
and five business electives; UoPeople’s available business electives are
- COM 2001 Professional Communication
- BUS 2202 E-Commerce
- BUS 2203 Principles of Finance 1
- BUS 2204 Personal Finance
- BUS 2207 Multinational Management
- BUS 3303 Entrepreneurship 1
- BUS 3306 Business and Society
- BUS 4402 Organizational Behavior
- BUS 4403 Business Policy and Strategy
- BUS 4405 Leadership
- BUS 4406 Quality Management
There’s a rumor UoPeople is working on a bachelor’s in liberal studies, and that might be friendlier to the scenario of 90 credits in scattered subjects by CLEP plus the minimum 10 for residency.
- BUS 2204 Personal Finance
- BUS 3301 Financial Accounting
- BUS 3302 Consumer Behavior
- BUS 3304 Managerial Accounting
- BUS 4401 Entrepreneurship 2
- BUS 4404 Principles of Finance 2
- BUS 4407 Strategic Management
Thank you. This was what I was interested in figuring out. I see that maybe some of Saylor's ACE courses could also plug up a few holes, or at least could be used as electives.
When I have a bit more time, I want to put a spreadsheet together and figure out the least expensive way to complete a UoPeople degree. Out of curiosity and to share with others.
