Right, so at this point you have 2 ways to complete the gen ed:
If you choose to get 9 credits in the Humanities category, you need 6 more credits in Humanities and no more credits in Social Science/History.
If you choose to get 9 credits in the Social Science/History category instead, you need 3 more credits in Social Science or History and 3 more credits in Humanities.
You need 9 credits in one category and 6 in the other. 3 of your 6 credits for AP English Lit will count as Humanities and you have 6 Social Science credits already.
Please keep the A&I Lit CLEP in mind as an option. As a math major, I would never have considered taking a Literature exam. I took it only because of the encouragement of members of this forum. If I had not taken it, I would not have enough Humanities credits to have my AS now. I will be going to the ceremony in 2 weeks!
Looking through some practice tests will help you find some other options, too. You can read my feedback for A&I Lit (and other exams) here: http://www.degreeforum.net/excelsior-tho...#post75628
It is exciting to be so close to finishing a degree, isn't it?
