Jim,
Glad to have you on the forum! I would recommend that you pick something for your first exam that comes easy to you. You will see on this forum that different people have different areas that come easy and others they struggle with. Most of us have much more life experience now than when we left 'formal education'

, and that can tell you a lot about what kind of exams will be more or less stressful. If you can start with one that you have confidence in, it will allow you to build on that confidence. So, what are your strengths?

Johanna,
My strengths are actually buisness related and the ability comprehend readings well. While my life experience is in business my degree pursuit is in Liberal Arts. The way I have figured it, I need to take 11 Clep/Dantes tests and 3 other classes to earn thr degree. How many exams have you completed and was Instacert the primary tool.
Best Regards,
Jim

May I suggest you try Analyzing/Interpreting Literature as a safe place to start? That could be an easy 6 credits to get you started if you find reading comprehension manageable.
My own journey so far has included A/I Literature, Princ. Accounting, College Math, German, Intro Sociology, Humanities and Social Sciences/History, for a total of 45 credits. You'll find that success breeds success and that this can be pretty addictive, that's why I am suggesting you start with a fairly easy exam that you're sure to pass. Good Luck!

One other key factor is to get confirmation from your academic advisor BEFORE taking an exam just to see if it will fit your degree profile. If not you will waste time, effort, and $$$ - GOOD LUCK!!
