My goal is to get my BALS at TESC. Here are the courses I've completed already, not including military credits, Emergency Response credits, HazMat credits, because I'm not sure if those will be taken. For my 27 Free Electives, I'll be taking FEMA courses, I've completed 3 already.
CIS 101 - Intro to Computer Concepts - 3 credits
Eng 101 - Freshman Comp - 3 credits
BYU Public Speaking - 3 credits
College Math CLEP - 6 credits
Intro to Sociology CLEP - 3 credits
Principles of Management CLEP - 3 credits
Intro to World Religion DSST - 3 credits
Principles of Supervision DSST - 3 credits
Astronomy DSST - 3 credits
Environment and Humanity: Race to Save the Planet Earth DSST - 3 credits
I've been stocking up on Straighterline books because I'm deployed and it's the only way I can take courses. I have the books for Accounting 1&2, Micro/Macro Economics, Personal Finance, and US History 101. Would taking these help with my BALS? Can they fulfill General Education Electives?
For upper level Liberal studies courses, I believe I can take these below?
Intro to World Religions (I've completed)
Management Information Systems
Substance Abuse
Business Ethics and Society
Organizational Behavior
Business Communications (Straighterline)
Are their any others for UL credits for Liberal Studies?

Accounting and personal finance will be a waste. They will only count as free electives in the liberal studies degree, and you're already filling those up with FEMAs. If you want to get an idea of what will count as an UL liberal studies course, take a look at the UL tests/courses in these 3 degree plans. Liberal studies is nothing but a combination of social sciences, natural sciences/mathematics, and humanities.

Thanks for the reply. So the micro/macro and US history will at least help, if not as UL credits, at least as general education electives or lower level social science credits? I'm confused on what to fill in for my General Education electives - 18 credits?

This degree plan shows
_E. General Education Electives________________________________18
_____CLEP BIO111/112 Biology____________________________________-6
_____ALEK MAT115 Intermediate Algebra___________________________-3
_____ALEK MAT129 Precalculus____________________________________-3
_____ALEK STA201 Intro to Statistics____________________________-3
_____SLINE AOJ102 Introduction to Criminal Justice______________-3
I'm trying to avoid heavy math.

That degree plan no longer applies. TESC changed its general education requirements on July 1st.
