Confused-Excelsior Evaluation

First time posting, long time lurker!

I just received my evaluation from Excelsior and I am a little confused. I need 10 AandS Lower Level, 15 Upper; 6APorA&S Upper Level, 6 Written English; 2 Ethics, info. lit and capstone then two full depths.

My credit count is 92, however this adds up to well over fifty credits. Am I missing something?

With the remainder of my credits being transferred in from military (CCAF).

I know I need to take a speech course to complete CCAF, and I have already completed Substance Abuse though it didn't appear on my transcript that Prometric sent Excelsior. I also have completed two Aleks courses which I haven't requested a transcript for (working on statistics).

Am I really as far away from completing my degree as it seems or is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

(Also, I have tried speaking to my advisor for degree plans but they only recommended Excelsior courses. I have not ruled them out however Cleps and Dantes are far more cost effective for me, so they are preferred.)

You definitely don't need that many credits, since the depths can be worked into your degree plan. For instance, the College Math CLEP, plus 1 ALEKS Math, plus ALEKS Stats will count as a math depth. The ALEKS math will also be 3 LL A&S and the ALEKS Stats will be 3UL A&S. Be sure to get a good plan for your 2nd depth, too.
