Yeah, a 2cr course isn't helpful in the AOS unless you have a 4cr course in there to make up for it.  Plus, the 2cr course that will work in the AOS can easily be replaced by the 3cr exam instead (Fund. of Cybersecurity DSST).

Well, since there are two of them, you end up with a 4 cr. The extra 1 cr doesn't do you any good unless you have 2 cr from something else to make up for it. Which is hard to find in UL credits, so I just added a 3 cr course and ignored the extra.
Goal: BSBA-CIS and ASNSM-CS from TESU by March 2019. (May add BSBA-HR/OM AOS if I end up bumping to June.)

PROGRESS SO FAR (97.66 Cr):
  • B&M CC: American Govt & Inst, Intro to Computing, Intro Astronomy w/Lab [quarter-units]
  • CLEP/DSST: Info Systems (80), A&I Literature (76), Principles of Marketing (75), Management Info Systems (467)
  • ALEKS: College Algebra, Trigonometry, Intro Statistics
  • The Institutes: Ethics 312
  • Sophia.org: Developing Effective Teams, Essentials of Managing Conflict
  • StraighterLine: English Comp I, C++ Programming, Cultural Anthropology, Principles of Management, Intro to Religion, Business Law
  • Study.com: Personal Finance, Presentation Skills, Information Literacy, International Business, Micro & Macroeconomics, Intro Psychology, Human Growth & Development, Social Psychology, Intro Sociology, College Comp II, Business Comm, Principles of Finance (in progress)
  • TEEX: Cybersecurity 101/201/301

Yeah exactly that's what I'm talking about. Most classes are 3 credit so these 2 credit things leave me short 2 credits for all intents and purposes. I think these classes should be 3 credits each given how long and detailed they seem to be.

I don't disagree. The Cybersecurity courses are easily as challenging (and maybe more so) than other 3 cr courses I've taken. But that is what ACE recommends for them, so that is what we get. It's free credits though, so we can't complain too much. Smile
