Hello,
I have about 50 credits of CC and 24 or so from TESC from 1 year of enrollment and some tecep's.
I moved out of the country for a year or two and dropped out of TESC due to the logistics of trying to get books and taking the exams made it a little to hard.
I was not aware at the time of all the credits i could get from these tests. Now i am hoping to test out as much as possible and then only take what i have to from COSC or TESC.
How many here are just Credit banking at one of the two??
Which one is best or cheapest and what are the pro's and cons of each. I have read on thier websites but its a little hard to understand.
Please give me any info on what i should do. Should i just wait until i have taken most of the tests or just i Matriculate???? I guess the benefit is i get guideance from the school.

Hi RM,
Actually, you shouldn't need to Credit Bank. When you take a CLEP or DANTES exam, you score is kept on file for TWENTY YEARS (this, in effect, IS your credit bank). Then whenever you are ready to enroll at a university, you can have your transcripts sent to them by DANTES and CLEP (the cost is approx $20 per transcript).
So you really have no need to pay for Credit Banking services.
You WILL want to make sure that any exams you take fit in with your anticipated degree plan, and that they don't overlap with credits you already have. Other than that, you can safely take as many exams as you like...and THEN enroll at your college of choice, and have DANTES and CLEP transcripts sent to that college at the time of your application.
Hope that helps,

When i was at TESC they made a plan for me so i know which classes i need to take except for the UL classes that were in my concentration....
