Brandman...Earn your Master's in only 7 classes.
#11
Hi all. I know I'm reviving an old thread, but has anyone done Brandman's MA in Organizational Leadership program? I'm currently 3/4 done (mainly CLEP/DSST/JST) with a BA Liberal Studies thru TESU and I'm very interested in Brandman's program. Of course, I'm only a fresh WO1 (Active Army) still waiting for flight school to start and taking courses while I'm a holdover. I'm trying to make a 4-5 year plan to get my masters. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

This thread was started 6 years ago and never seemed to go anywhere. Not sure if anyone on here has completed a Brandman degree. Brandman is becoming UMass Global. Maybe start a new thread with a new subject asking your specific questions? Might get better results. There are 12 courses in MAOL not 7....There's a military program where you MAY be waived from certain courses. This does not apply to anyone outside of the military.

Looks like there are 12 courses for the MAOL, but certain ranks/jobs (?) in the military give you credit for 5 of those, leaving only 7 courses to finish the program (which works out to be $8,400).

  • Commissioned Officers, Warrant Officers (CWO2+), and Senior NCOs (E7+) can earn a Master's in Organizational Leadership in only 7 classes

How did you calculate that tuition? The CBE program is $3500 per term.

I saw that and the site doesn’t say how officers and SNCOs earn those credits.

It most likely from courses that people at those rank take as senior leadership i.e. Senior Enlisted Academy and/or on their JSTs each rank gives you certain credits.
