Hello all!
I've got a complete CCAF degree in Strategic Operations Management. I applied to TESU hoping that most of the credits would transfer to a BSBA in finance via general education credits. Today i found out that they are accepting 0 of my general education requirements and only fulfilling 15 TOTAL credits towards electives. Have any of you ran into issues with this?

CCAF = Community College of the Air Force and it is regionally accredited through Air University by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) the chair Force has their members go through this.

Basically, you need to know what classes your associates brings in... Your associates classes can't go into the AOS for Finance because of two reasons, they're lower level and they're not in finance, that's why it was moved to electives. Anyways, you should max your transfer of credits using Sophia.org $99/month or Study.com $95/month for general education and anything else that can transfer into your degree business professional requirements.

OP, did you send them in your JST? Did they apply any of your military professional experince credits towards the gen eds? I'd speak to an advisor to clarify, if possible. Alternativy, you could try WGU for thier BS in Finance as they have an aagreement in place with the CCAF.

Accepting just 15 credits out of 60 seems awfully paltry. Unless there's something magical about TESU for this, I'd shop around.
BS, Information Systems concentration, Charter Oak State College
MA in Educational Technology Leadership, George Washington University
18+ doctoral level credits in Ed Leadership and in Business Admin

I have a CCAF as well. Although I don't use it, you could use yours in the AU-ABC programs. Have you checked with any of the partnered universities? I'm pretty certain partners are able to tell you what your CCAF can be applied towards, but don't be surprised if a school won't accept most or any of your credits. Courses in your specific CCAF will almost always be considered free electives if not part of a university with AU-ABC (guaranteed 60 credits transferred towards a degree in your AFSC, some outside of it if partnered).
A bit old, but here is a list of the partnered universities/colleges:

If you go on our AU (Air University) site, there is a link that will show you what school will take all of your credits towards an applicable degree (within your AFSC). Plus, your base education office will help you with that if needed.
If you want, take a look at AU's catalog to see what your program track is, courses you had to take, and you can go from there. If not, reach back out and I can assist:
