I'm trying to set up a Cake Bakery business and I need a creative, fun name for the business. I do wedding cakes, birthday cakes, cupcakes and even some cookies and pastries. Their are so many businesses out there and all the good names have already been used. Does anyone have any good ideas? I appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you!

Of course, assuming your target audience is the internet generation.
Done any kind of market research? Any idea what kind of crowd you would be targeting?

I think you already have a great name for it: "Vanki Bakery"
I am pronouncing Vanki as van-key; sorry if I'm mispronouncing it, but I think that can be catchy.
I only require 50% of your profits as a fee. Just kidding! Good luck!

Well..
You could target the low sugar market and go with Diabetic-D-Lites
OR... Go kosher and name it Moishe's or perhaps Schlemozel's and use a picture of dubya shrugging as your logo
Simple Simon could work too, even though he was a pieman.
Anyway, just some ideas.

haha yours made me laugh 94steve. love a sense of humor.
My target audience is mainly middle/upper class customers looking for a cake for a special occasion. Lots of birthdays and weddings. But I do a lot of cookies and pastries so its not only cakes. Such a dilemma!
Some idea's that i've been thinking about are:
Piece of Cake
The Cakery
Simply Sweet
Edible Elegance
The Cake Shoppe
Sweet Treats
A Taste of Heaven
What do you think? Good? Lame?

Hi!
I like all of your ideas so far.
I had thought of the Cakery, too, so I like that one.
Cake Du Jour (or some way to say the special day)
Celebrate Cake (or some way to convey the festive occasion)
When I was naming my website, I wrote out hundreds of possibilities. It really helps to write them all down and not censor anything, just brainstorm. Also, the dictionary helps to find what you are trying to convey. Be sure to pick something that is not easy to misspell.
Then, talking the ideas over with a creative friend really helps to narrow down the possibilities.
Have fun with this part and trust yourself. I think you will know it when you hear it.
I'm looking forward to seeing what others say, too.
Please let us know what you decide.

I like The Cakery as well, but I wonder how many of those already exist?
IMO, I would not go with Edible Elegance, unless you really wanted to go for upscale. Kind of sounds like a place that wouldn't even have advertised prices. (if you have to ask, you can't afford it. :p )
Unless you had a theme or gimmick in mind already, maybe "Vanki's" isn't a bad idea. That's neutral, so there's less of a chance of putting off or alienating customers.
