Completing a BSBA in Management by testing out.

While Sanantone is correct there is no credit tuition plan through testing out, 12 credits including your capstone isn't a great deal of money plus it contributes to your GPA if you did need one. It means 5400 for your gpa and residency. there are less expensive ways for sure which is why I'm pushing the rest of my business degree in the CLEP direction.

I think of it this way. That $5400 adds a lot to the total cost of the degree and doesn't give you much in return. You only get 12 credits for that when you could earn 60 credits at a community college for that cost. Just to simplify things, let's just say that the person will complete the rest of the credits through CLEP/DSST at $100 a pop. You would have to take 36 tests for the 108 credits spending $3,600. $3,600 + $5,400 = $9,000. Let's do the same for TESC. You would take 8 TECEPs for 24 credits totaling $888. You would have 96 credits left to complete through CLEP/DSST at $100 a pop, so that is 32 tests at $3,200. $3,200 + $888 = $4,088. That is a $4,912 difference between Excelsior and TESC. If a person really wants a GPA at TESC, then he or she can just take a course at TESC and still save thousands of dollars over Excelsior's Course Option tuition plan.

Does it matter what the class is for GPA? Can it be any course? And when is the enrollment period for TESC?
