Yay yay yay! TESC just added my ALEKS classes to my evaluation. Intro to Stats is applied as STA-201, Intermediate Algebra is applied as MAT-115. Makes the 131 hours and 32 minutes worth it!

Once ALEKS has approved the course and it is listed as such in your ACE account you are ok to switch to another course.

Ok this is my first post. I am new to this and when I joined it was through the encouragement of a friend. I want to try to finish my degree but honestly I have no time to go to classes and she told me this forum was full of info on completing courses onlin and testing out for credit. BOY SHE WASN'T KIDDING. OK so now to my question.
I have tried very diligently to read this thread to find out how EC takes the credits from ALEKS - I don't know if I am just missing it or if my mind is boggled up from all the information.
I was just wondering if anyone can tell me specifically if EC accepts all of these courses for credit. I was hoping to knock several of these out but I don't want to spend time studying for each if I won't get credit for all.
5. Intermediate Algebra (ALEK-0002)
3. College Algebra (ALEK-0003) --- i have already completed this one
7. PreCalculus (ALEK-0005)
I also wasn't sure if EC allows 2 statistics courses?
6. Introduction to Statistics (ALEK-0007)
2. Business Statistics (ALEK-0008)
Any information would be appreciated.

EC has granted credit for Beginning Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, and Pre-Cal. Those are the only ones I have experience with, but I'm certain the others w/ ACE recommendations will also be accepted.

Just today my ace was applied to my status report. The all 4 aleks I took transferred in. Beginning, intermediate algebra, and introduction to statistics all went towards lower and statistics for behavior sciences was upper a&s. I could argue the intro stats I'm sure, but I'm already studying world pop, so theres really no point for me. It works fine for my plan.

Good to hear, is this at EC?

Yes, EC. I was expecting stats to duplicate, and beginning algebra to not be accepted. I was quite happily surprised to see they took them both and I no longer had to study for social science/history

Did beginning algebra and regular stats fulfill your math requirement, with intermediate being an arts elective?
Which program are you in?
